Mr’s Grumpy Poetry

Mr’s Grumpy has shut her door to Fairies
And she shouts out through the keyhole Go away, you’re not there
She gets up in the morning, pokes her head out and says NO!
She hopes no fairies show,
She’s on the look-out for their glow
So they feed milk to her cat And dust her welcome mat

Da da dee dee da da da Da da dee Da dee dee da

Mr’s Grumpys cow’s called Beautiful, she’s waiting at the gate
“Milk time”, shout the fairies “Come on, don’t be late”.
Don’t throw us away, don’t wish us gone
Please do believe, so we go on
We need belief, we need to be
Give us a go, and you will see

When Grumpy is in her garden, and she’s pulling out the weeds
They shower her in fairy dust, and on their knees they plead
Don’t throw us away, Don’t wish us gone
Please do believe, so we go on
We need belief, we need to be
Open your eyes, and you will see

Then Grumpy starts to giggle, the dust was Joi De Vie
Now there’s fairies on her shoulders, and fairies on her knees
Don’t throw us away, Don’t wish us gone
Please do believe, so we go on
We need belief, we need to be
Open your eyes, and you will see
